Modi, TDP chief, actor Pawan Kalyan likely to share dais

BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, TDP chief N.Chandrababu Naidu and Tollywood star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan are set to share a common platform during campaign in Telangana and Seemandhra regions in Andhra Pradesh.

Sources said that the details are being worked out depending upon convenience and the schedule of both the senior political leaders busy in campaigning for the elections.

There are indications that at least two meetings are likely to be held in Telangana and the sources indicated that it could be held either in Karimnagar or Nizamabad and possibly Mahboobnager and in Hyderabad. However, details are awaited.

Ongole MP

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and a sitting MP from Ongole Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, joined TDP in the presence of Naidu here today and he is likely to be fielded from there. He said that the development in Seemandhra region would be possible only under TDP leader Naidu.

Pawan Kalyan, brother of actor Chiranjeevi who is part of Congress, has begun campaigning for BJP in parts of Karnataka. He is expected to woo his fans during the rallies. He also hinted that he plans to canvass for Lok Satta chief Jayaprakash Narayan, who is contesting from Malkajgiri constituency.
