The Kerala State Cooperative Rubber Marketing Federation (RubberMark) has launched an organic fertilizer called Bharat Jaiva (Gold).
At the State-level launch here recently, Cooperative Minister C.N. Balakrishnan pointed out that the State Government was now taking steps to keep people out of the harmful trap of chemically-contaminated food stuff caused by the overuse of pesticides on vegetables and fruits.
The organic fertilizer now being marketed by RubberMark was a fine step towards this goal, he said.
