Both the Houses of Parliament witnessed uproarious scenes over Telangana as Congress MPs from Seemandhra as well as Telangana regions stormed to the Well against and for the proposed bifurcation, respectively.

The confusion within the Congress was apparent as senior MPs such as T Subbarami Reddy were protesting against the party high command’s decision.

Apart from that, the Capital witnessed a number of protests on the issue. AP Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were here to press their respective demands.

In the TDP, too, there are differences among MPs on the issue. Party leader in Lok Sabha, Nama Nageshwara Rao, has stated he will support the Bill.
