Railways to operate special train between Mangalore-Ahmedabad

Railways will operate a weekly super-fast special train between Ahmedabad and Mangalore Junction from April 7.

A press statement by the Palakkad division of Southern Railways said train No. 09420 Ahmedabad-Mangalore Junction weekly super-fast special will run on all Mondays from April 7 to June 30. The train will leave Ahmedabad at 4.20 pm on Mondays and will reach Mangalore Junction at 7.30 pm on Tuesdays.

In the return direction, train no. 09419 Mangalore Junction-Ahmedabad weekly super-fast special will leave Mangalore Junction on all Tuesdays from April 8 to July 1.  This train will leave Mangalore Junction at 9.30 pm on Tuesdays and will reach Ahmedabad at 1.10 am on Thursdays.

This train will have one two-tier AC, two three-tier AC, seven sleeper, six general second-class and two luggage-cum-brake vans.

These specials will stop at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Boiser, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal and  Udupi, the statement added.
