Ramky Infra loss widens to Rs 190 cr in Q2

Ramky Infrastructure Limited has posted a loss of Rs 190.53 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2014 as against a loss of Rs 72.04 crore for the corresponding quarter last year on a consolidated basis.

The Hyderabad-based infrastructure and construction company has posted steep dip in its revenue for the second quarter at Rs 353.62 crore as against Rs 534.19 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

On a standalone basis, the company posted a loss of Rs 142.35 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2014 as against loss of Rs 74.35 crore for the same period previous financial year.

The company revenue has seen a major fall at Rs 225.22 crore for the second quarter on standalone basis as against Rs 413.40 crore for the same period last year.

The company Board which met here today has inducted Krishna Kumar Gangadharan as additional director.

Ramky in a statement to the stock exchanges has informed that Archana Niranjan Hingorani, Rajiv Maliwal, Rajsekhara Reddy and V. Harish Kumar have resigned from the Board.

The company shares closed the day at Rs 56.55, down 1.48 per cent at BSE.
