Ramky Infra jt venture bags Rs 210-cr highway project

Ramky Infrastructure Ltd and Barbik Project Ltd joint venture has been awarded a national highway upgradation project in Chhattisgarh valued at Rs 209.89 crore.

Ramky Infra has informed the BSE that the project entails rehabilitation and upgradation of National Highway 43 between the stretch from km 180 to km 241 at Bedma to Dahikonda, with a two-lane paved shoulder under the National Highway Development Project-IV.

The project, awarded by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, New Delhi, is to be executed under the engineering, procurement and construction mode.

The 61-km road project will be executed by Ramky Infra and Barbik Project joint venture, where the partners will hold 70 per cent and 30 per cent stake, respectively. The project is to be commissioned within 550 days from the appointed date, Y R Nagaraja, Managing Director of Ramky Infra, said.
