Gayatri Group, which developed the Hyderabad facility, plans another project in Vizag

Luxury hospitality project Park Hyatt Hyderabad has announced the commissioning of its signature Italian restaurant Tre-Forni and Oriental Bar and Kitchen.

After the soft launch of the marquee hospitality project, both the restaurants were formally opened late on Monday in the presence of Mr Francois Richier, Ambassador of France to India and Mr Zhang Yan, Chinese Envoy to India.

The Hyderabad-property has been developed with an outlay of Rs 800 crore by Gayatri Group promoted by Mr T. Subbarami Reddy. It claims to host the first-ever serviced apartments attached to a hotel.

Named The Residence at Park Hyatt Hyderabad, it offers “home away from home” experience with a wide range of services and facilities through these serviced apartments.

Mr T.V. Sandeep Reddy, Director of Gayatri Group, told Business Line that the Government needs to look at considering hospitality projects under the infrastructure sector and extend concessions associated with them. This would make hospitality projects more attractive.

He said the Gayatri Group is also considering taking up another hospitality project in the port city of Visakhapatnam.

Mr Sven Hoffmeyer, General Manager of Park Hyatt Hyderabad, said the focus is to provide enhanced hospitality experience. “We believe that Hyderabad has emerged as an important destination for business travellers with quality infrastructure,” he said.

For a large hospitality chain, a good number of visitors also come from its group properties. “We are looking at the opportunities unfolding here as the city grows as a business destination,” he said
