Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of the Park Hyatt Hyderabad in the upscale Banjara Hills neighbourhood.
The hotel is targeted at business travellers and local guests. It claims to be the first hotel in Hyderabad to offer 42 fully-serviced luxury apartments — The Residence.
“Park Hyatt hotels are premium luxury hotels designed to cater to the discerning individual seeking the privacy, personalised service and luxurious elegance of a contemporary hotel,” Mr Sven Hoffmeyer, General Manager of Park Hyatt Hyderabad, said in a statement.
“This new hotel will maintain the brand’s emphasis on art and culinary excellence with locally inspired artwork in the public areas and a signature restaurant headed by experienced chefs,” he said.
Designed by the renowned architecture firm of John Portman & Associates, the, eight-story Park Hyatt Hyderabad includes 185 guestrooms and 24 suites on the first six floors with 42 service apartments on the two uppermost floors.
The financial, economic and political capital of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is one of the richest cities in India and has been named the second best Indian city for doing business, according to a World Bank Group report.
