Punj Lloyd's subsidiary, PL Engineering, and Paris-based Dassault Systèmes, a global leader in 3D and product lifecycle management solutions, have agreed to jointly promote Systemes' software solutions in India and other markets.
Dassault Systèmes brings value to over 1.15 lakh customers in 80 countries. A pioneer in the 3D software market since 1981, its applications provide 3D vision of the entire lifecycle of products from conception to maintenance to recycling.
PL Engineering's design and engineering capabilities cover all stages of a product and project life-cycle from concept design to commissioning.
The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding for the purpose. Dassault Systemes has products and solutions for oil and gas, power- nuclear and thermal, chemicals, petrochemicals, bio-fuels, industrial plant design, aerospace and equipment manufacturing.
