Sintex Industries Ltd, manufacturer of plastic and textile products, on Tuesday reported a 26 per cent increase in net profit and 15 per cent in income for the fiscal ended March 31, 2013 compared to the corresponding period last fiscal.
While the income stood at Rs 2,968 crore (Rs 2,562 crore), its profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 289 crore (Rs 229 crore), according to a press release here.
During the fourth quarter, the company’s income increased by 32 per cent to Rs 927 crore (Rs 700 crore), while PAT increased by 106 per cent to Rs 163 crore (Rs 79 crore).
