Rupee ends a tad up at 67.37

The rupee ended a tad up at 67.37 as US dollar remained weak against major world currencies ahead of non-farm payrolls data later in the day.

The domestic depreciated 7 paise to 67.46 in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market today. It hovered in a range of 67.50 and 67.30 before ending at 67.37, up 2 paise.

Yesterday, the rupee had recovered 6 paise to end at 67.39 against the American currency on fresh selling of dollar by banks and exporters on the back of good foreign capital inflows.

Meanwhile, the benchmark BSE Sensex ended down by 74.59 points or 0.27 per cent at 27,126.90.
