Ajit Chandila was paid Rs 20 lakh for giving away certain amount of runs in May 5 match between Rajasthan Royals and Pune Warriors, said Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar here today.
Spot-fixing codes were given to players by bookies. He also said that, Ankeet Chavan was promised Rs 60 lakh for giving away 14 runs in his second over in yesterday’s match against Mumbai Indians.
Kumar also commented, “Our investigation as of now does not show other players being involved. There will be more arrests”.
