Balaji resigns from Randstad India

The MD and CEO of leading HR services company Randstad India, E. Balaji, has resigned to pursue other career opportunities outside the firm. The Netherlands-headquartered Randstad has appointed Moorthy K. Uppaluri as the new CEO of Randstad India. He and Balaji will work together over the next few weeks to enable a smooth leadership transition, said a company press release. Balaji joined Randstad’s predecessor Ma Foi in 1994 and held various responsibilities over the past 19 years. He was the MD & CEO of Randstad India for the last two years. Uppaluri, who will join as the CEO in a week, was till recently the Global Head and General Manager of Microsoft Academic Programs at their corporate headquarters in the US, the release says.
