Chennai TTD temple open for New Year darshan from 2 am

As part of the New Year celebrations, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) here will open the S V Prayer Hall at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple for darshan from 2 am on January 1.

The prayer hall will be opened for ‘Srivari Darshan’ for general public from 2 am. The entire premises of the temple has been decorated with flowers, fruits and electrical illumination, a TTD release said.

Due to the heavy crowd that is expected, the TTD requested devotees not to offer flowers or coconuts and to have only the “darshan” of the lord.

People can have darshan till midnight of January 1.
