Citizen Watches India, a subsidiary of the $3.5 billion Citizen Holdings, has rolled out more watches under the Eco drive Super Titanium range. It launched 15 more models under the range for this year ahead of the Diwali season, taking the total to 24. The sub-brand was launched last year and straddles a price range of Rs 15,000 to Rs 26,000.

The range will be promoted through a 360-degree campaign, and the print leg is on in magazines currently. An international ad film, in keeping with Citizen’s philosophy of ‘One World, One Collection’, will start airing shortly.

The launch was presided over by Mr Katsusuke Tokura, Managing Director, Citizen Watches, and billiards and snooker champion Mr Pankaj Advani, in Mumbai.

Mr Tokura said, “ India is a top priority market for Citizen. We have seen 10 to 15 per cent growth annually here, over the last five years. We have 26 exclusive showrooms in tier 1 and tier 2 cities, and we expect to extend our footprint to more cities.”

The company also unveiled a limited edition Eco-drive Satellite Wave model, 10 pieces of which will be sold in India. The watch is priced at Rs 1,75,000.
