Godrej Security Solutions has in its pipeline new products in the home safe and video door phone categories.

Having recently launched a slew of intelligent home safes that send out SMSes and phone calls to designated numbers when tampered with , the company is now set to launch a new safe-in-safe model.

In the video door phone category, it has phased out its earlier model.

“We will be launching a new model that will provide video feed from double entrances. This, we changed after we got the feedback that many homes today have two entrances. We will be launching this product within a month,” Mehernosh Pithawala, Head of Marketing, told newspersons here on Tuesday.

Its recent launches include a top opening safe, Matrix, that triggers off an alarm if it is being tampered with and sends instant SMS alerts to pre-registered numbers; E-Swipe that can be accessed by the use of debit or credit cards of the owner, and E-Bio — protected by the owner’s fingerprints.

“Today, we have 52 home safe models priced between Rs 4,000 and Rs 90,000. We are aiming at selling 1.50 lakh safes this year,” he said.

It has launched a five-month TV campaign to promote its new models, with an ad spend of Rs 15 crore. While three of these have just been launched, the other two will be launched in December and February next year.
