Coking coal producer Gujarat NRE Coke has reported a 27.11 per cent dip in net profit at Rs 21.05 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
The net profit stood at Rs 28.88 crore during the October-December quarter of the previous fiscal, Gujarat NRE Coke said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
However, the company’s total income jumped to Rs 438.84 crore during the third quarter from Rs 312.47 crore in the year-ago period, the filing added.
Shares of Gujarat NRE Coke were trading at Rs 55.20 on the BSE, down 0.36 per cent from the previous close.
