IL&FS Engineering Services Ltd (formerly Maytas Infra Ltd) has registered a profit of Rs 10.69 crore on revenues of Rs 1,110.03 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2011 on a consolidated basis, against a loss of Rs 238.29 crore on revenues of Rs 1098.78 crore for the previous financial year.
The company registered profits for an year for the first time after it took over the reigns from promoters of Maytas Infra Ltd through a Company Law Board order.
On a standalone basis, the company logged a net profit of Rs 6.49 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2011 as against a loss of Rs 239.79 crore for the year-ago period. The revenue for the financial year 2011 was Rs 1,044.97 crore versus Rs 955.44 crore for the corresponding year-ago period.
