McNally Bharat reported drop in net profit to ₹2.38 crore in the Q3 ended on December 31, 2013, from ₹5.44 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. The rising finance cost at ₹35.66 crore (₹23.69 crore) had put pressure on the bottomline, a senior official said. The firm’s book at present stood at ₹6,662 crore.
