Piaggio unveils three-wheeler

Piaggio Vehicles has introduced the Ape City Compact Diesel, a three-wheeler passenger vehicle, in the Kerala market. It is fitted with a 395-cc diesel engine that is at the heart of all Piaggio vehicles, said Hardip Goindi, Executive Vice-President, Piaggio India. He said the ape City Compact Diesel was a strategic initiative that sought to build on the success achieved by the ape’ City LPG three-wheeler in Hyderabad and other cities in Andhra Pradesh. It is the only product in its category to offer a hand clutch. It also offers the best mileage in its class, superior pick-up and acceleration, he added.
