Virtusa Corpn gets BSA’s Verafirm certification

BSA, The Software Alliance, a non-profit trade association created to advance the goals of the software industry and its hardware partners, has awarded the Software Asset Management (SAM)-based Verafirm certification to Nasdaq-listed Virtusa Corporation. This certification recognises best practices implemented by Virtusa Corporation in SAM through the entire software lifecycle from procurement, inventory management, deployment, licence compliance to usage monitoring, according to a statement from Virtusa.

The Verafirm certification is the first and only industry certification based on ISO SAM standards and enables companies to be IT compliant, the statement added.
