ACC commissions grinding unit

ACC, part of LafargeHolcim Group, has started commercial production at its new 2.79 million tonne per annum clinker unit at Jamul in Chhattisgarh. Another grinding unit of similar capacity is expected to go live at Sindri in Jharkhand by September quarter. The new facility will help the company expand customer base in the fast-growing market in eastern markets by offering premium quality products, said the company in a statement on Wednesday. The company has invested ₹3,000 crore in modernising the existing facility at Jamul and putting up the grinding unit at Sindri.
