ACC has reported an increase of 7.3 per cent in its despatches in June at 1.91 million tonne against 1.78 mt tonne during the same month of 2010.
According to a company statement, it also registered a growth of 6.18 per cent in production at 1.89 mt, up from 1.78 mt in the year-ago period.
Cumulative despatches during January-June stood at 12.18 mt against 10.88 mt during the same period last year, registering a rise of 11.95 per cent.
During the first half of 2011, the production was 12.18 mt, up 11.33 per cent from 10.94 mt in the corresponding period of last year.
