Adani Power’s subsidiary signs PPA with MMPCL

Adani Power's wholly owned subsidiary Pench Thermal Energy (MP) has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL).

Pench Thermal, formerly known as Adani Pench Power will procure 1,230 MW of power on a long term basis from MPPMCL, which is a government of MP undertaking, Adani Power said. Also, the power will be procured from an upcoming new Super Critical power station which has 1,320 MW capacity in the state. The fuel will be sourced as per the SHAKTI policy and this has got the approval of MP Electricity Regulatory Commission, the company said.
