The start-ups will also get a chance to raise capital of up to $20 million from Anthill’s co-investment syndication platform

Anthill Ventures, an accelerator for early growth-stage start-ups, has launched A-Scale, an Asian market access programme for health tech, media tech and urban tech start-ups based in Singapore.

A-Scale is an intensive, six-month speed-scaling programme targeted to benefit 18 start-ups every year.

Start-ups with disruptive technologies that challenge traditional business models and that are interested in entering Asian markets will be eligible for the programme.

“This platform will help us expand into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. We are building an ecosystem comprising corporates, partners, investors, and mentors in South-East Asia,” Prasad Vanga, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Anthill Ventures, said.

The initiative is backed by Enterprise Singapore, the government agency responsible for developing the start-up ecosystem.

Anthill’s portfolio of startups will now get access to the markets in S-E Asia. The start-ups that are selected for the programme will get access to more than 50 corporate market channels.

They will also get funding of up to $1 million based on milestones and digital infrastructure support and services.

The start-ups will also get a chance to raise capital of up to $20 million from Anthill’s co-investment syndication platform.
