Ashok Leyland has unveiled the Stile, a multi-purpose commercial vehicle, designed for transportation, hotel shuttles and taxi services.

Stile follows the Dost from Ashok Leyland’s light vehicle business.

It was developed by the Ashok Leyland-Nissan Motor Company joint venture.

Set to hit the roads before the festival season, Stile will roll out from Nissan’s manufacturing plant at Oragadam, near Chennai.

The 7-8 seater vehicle, set to be modelled on the Nissan Evalia (which is meant for personal use), promises features such as low low-floor and a common rail diesel engine, tuned for low noise, vibration and harshness.

Stile will be available in both diesel and CNG versions.

Dheeraj G. Hinduja, Chairman, Ashok Leyland, said: “Stile represents our growing product portfolio and advancing product sophistication to stay ahead of the expectations of our customers.”
