The super luxury sports car maker Aston Martin today showcased two of its models, DB 11 and Rapide, in Hyderabad. The company indicated that the first set of DB 11s are likely to be delivered later this year.

DB11, which was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, marks a new chapter in Aston Martin's 103-year-old history. This is the first product under the company's second century plan. It showcases a distinctive design powered by an in-house designed 5.2 litre twin turbocharged V12 engine.

Lalit Choudary, Managing Director of Infinity Cars, said, “The Aston Martin DB 11 is a fine balance of beauty and performance. It is not just a new Aston Martin, but a revolutionary force that marks the beginning of a whole new chapter in the company.”

The Mumbai-based dealership of Aston Martin hopes to sell about 10 units of from the Aston Martins during the year.

Mentioning about huge tax impact on fully built cars, Choudary said the automotive sector is still not clear about the impact of GST implementation on the sector. “However, we hope that it is favourable to the automotive sector, sorting out most of the tax related issues,” he said.
