Coromandel posts ₹343 cr profit in Q2

Coromandel International, the fertiliser firm from the Murugappa Group, has posted a consolidated income of ₹3,665 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2017, against ₹3,593 crore in the same quarter last year. The consolidated net profit stood at ₹343 crore for the quarter (₹213 crore). “Stable commodity prices, higher asset utilisation and integrated marketing approach have led to improved performance in nutrient and crop protection businesses,” said Sameer Goel, MD.
