Tata Steel Ltd has joined the list of group company TCS to announce that its board of directors has appointed Cyrus P. Mistry as its Deputy Chairman with immediate effect and Chairman-designate to take over as Chairman from Ratan N. Tata on his retirement in December 2012.
The board of directors also appointed Koushik Chatterjee, Group Chief Financial Officer, as a whole-time director on the board with immediate effect.
