Energy efficiency solutions provider Danfoss Industries launched its modern high power automation drives at the Energy Efficiency Summit here today.

The newly launched drive by Danfoss India, part of the Danfoss Group based in Denmark, reduces the size by 73 per cent, capex on floor space and air-conditioning costs.

The high-power density of the product is achieved by maximum use of silicon capacity, and thermal management. Its design allows for greater power sizes to be integrated in a single drive.

Palanisamy PL, Director, Sales, Marketing and Services at Danfoss Drives said, “In the current scenario where India is facing acute shortage of energy, our variable frequency drive can easily save between 18-20 per cent of the energy input. This could help reduce the carbon footprint of industries, which would be beneficial to customers as well as the planet.”

These drives can be utilised across industries such as cement, mining, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning.
