Datsun has announced the start of pre-launch bookings for the ‘Datsun redi-GO’ urban-cross, beginning May 1, 2016. Deliveries of the vehicle will commence from June 2016.
Designed, developed and manufactured locally, the vehicle is a fusion of compact crossover and hatchback. To be priced between Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 3.5 lakh, the ex-showroom prices and variants are to be announced during the launch in June.
Customers can pre-book their Datsun redi-GO at Nissan dealerships across India with a fully refundable down payment of Rs 5,000. Currently, the company has 217 outlets in 165 cities, and plans to establish 300 sales and service outlets by end March 2017.
Prospective customers can also book the Datsun redi-GO online through ecommerce platform Snapdeal.com.

The Datsun redi-GO is powered by an all-new 0.8 litre three-cylinder fuel-efficient engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission and has best-in-class ground clearance (185mm).
Datsun has launched an ‘Datsun India App’ to keep customers updated on the latest news about the Datsun redi-GO. They can also book the car through this App that can be downloaded from Google Play store.
