Flipkart’s Chief Financial Officer Sriram Venkataraman will hold an additional role as the e-tailer’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).
The position remained open for 19 months, since Nitin Seth, who also headed Human Resources, exited Flipkart last May, citing personal reasons.
In another development, two top-level executives — Ravi Garikipati who headed Flipkart’s fintech division and Shoumyan Biswas, who was the Chief Marketing Officer and led Flipkart Plus, have quit.
