Godrej Appliances, which launched its new range of energy-efficient air-conditioners, is betting big on the upcoming summer season. The company witnessed over 100 per cent growth in sales for air-conditioners in the first nine months of this financial year and expects the momentum to continue.
Kamal Nandi, Business Head and EVP, said factors, such as overall positivity in the economy and purchase sentiment, besides the favourable summer weather pattern will be key for the growth of the AC category. On Tuesday, the company launched its new range ACs, called the Godrej EON Diet AC, which is priced in the range of ₹46,000-₹54,000.
