Granules India okays venture with Beligum firm

The board of directors of Granules India Ltd has approved a joint venture agreement with Belgium-based S. A. Ajinomoto Omnichem N. V, the Bombay Stock Exchange was informed. S.A. Ajinomoto OmniChem N.V. is engaged in the research, development and production of pharmaceutical chemicals, amino acids, and chemical specialties to a global customer base. The Hyderabad-based Graules had a turnover of Rs 476 crore during 2010-11.
