Greenply Industries Ltd. reported a 167 per cent jump in standalone net profit to Rs 16 crore for the quarter ending 31 March, 2012. The plywood-maker, during the quarter, reported a total income of Rs 459 crore.
During the year, the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 57 crore and a net income of Rs 1708 crore.
The Board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 or 40 per cent per equity share having a face value of Rs 5 each.
Greenply stock closed at Rs 210, down by 3.90 per cent, at BSE on Wednesday.
