Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported three per cent growth in its total sales for May 2013 at 2,29,006 units.
The company’s total sales stood at 2,21,549 units in the corresponding month last year.
Motorcycle sales declined by four per cent to 91,283 units in May 2013 from 95,423 units in May 2012, HMSI said in a statement.
The company reported an increase of nine per cent in its scooter sales at 1,37,723 units from 1,26,126 units in May 2012, it said.
