Kalyan Jewellers, the leading jewellery brand, has opened its first store in Gujarat at Ahmadabad. The 20,000 sq ft showroom was inaugurated by Amitabh Bachchan, who is also the brand ambassador for the company.
T.S. Kalyanaraman, CMD, Kalyan Jewellers, said the company would open three more showrooms in Rajkot, Vadodara and Surat with an investment of Rs 300 crore by the end of the current financial year.
The company is targeting 100 stores spread across the world by 2015. Kalyan Jewellers are engaged in retailing of gold, silver, platinum, diamond and pearl jewellery.
