Eyeing the Indian market, Italian luxury sports car-maker Automobili Lamborghini SpA on Thursday launched ‘Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4', priced at Rs 3.69 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).
“We have already received 20 bookings for the Aventador from India and plan to double our sales next year. Globally, our booking for this car has crossed 1,500,” said Mr James Page, Automobili Lamborghini SpA Marketing Manager, South-East Asia and Pacific.
The waiting period for the car would be around 18 months.
Powered by a 6.5-litre engine, the Aventador is among the fastest street-legal cars in the world and can touch up to 350 km per hour.
The car will be fully imported and sold through Lamborghini's sole dealer in India, Exclusive Motors.
