Merc expands R&D facilities

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) has inaugurated a third facility in India at Whitefield, Bengaluru. Located close to the head office of MBRDI, also in Whitefield, the new facility is spread over 119,227 sq ft with a capacity to seat 900. The satellite office in Pune at Hinjewadi that was inaugurated last year has also expanded its capacity by adding another 203 seats. “We are firm on our mission to be a Center of Excellence within Daimler for Engineering & IT. Now with 19 years behind us, we have graduated higher up the value chain and contributing significantly in some niche areas of digital product development,” said Manu Saale, MD & CEO.
