Mercedes opens second dealership in Bangalore

Mercedes-Benz opened its second dealership in Bangalore as part of ‘Go to customer' strategy.

The dealership — Akshaya Motors located on Mysore road is to cover the southern parts of city. The 3S dealership showroom is spread over 65,000 square feet and was inaugurated by Mr Peter Honegg, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Honegg said: “Inauguration of Akshaya Motors reaffirms our constant endeavour of delighting the customers with exciting product offerings and simultaneously giving them an unparalleled luxury car ownership experience, through our superlative after-sales network.”

“Our second dealership in Bangalore is part of our ‘Go to customer' strategy which is defining newer benchmark for the luxury car industry in India, and we are committed to reaching out and delighting more customers and expanding our footprints to more Indian cities,” he added.

The new facilities include a drive-in valet service, customer lounge with Café-Mercedes along with the display of the exotic range of Mercedes-Benz cars. The engaging audio-visual presentations, boutique collection are some of the highlights of the new dealership.

According to Mr M.P. Shyam, Managing Director, Akshaya Motors, “The facility is built over a span of 12 months; the 3S facility includes a well structured showroom and workshop. The new dealership has been established with an investment of Rs 30 crore.”

Akshaya Motors has created a workshop having 29 bays that can handle care of customer service requirements each day. The workshop can undertake general repairs and accident jobs, spares; round the clock after-sales support and also have a separate driver's lounge.

With the second dealership in Bangalore, Mercedes-Benz continues to enjoy a network spread across 31 cities with over 70 touch-points across India.
