Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has recorded a loss of ₹1,894.36 crore in the third quarter of 2014-15 against a loss of ₹247.68 crore in the corresponding period of 2013-14.
According to the information available with the stock exchanges, total income of the company from operations decreased to ₹14,715.42 crore during the third quarter of 2014-15 from ₹18,850.33 crore during the third quarter of 2013-14.
Crude throughput at the refinery stood at 3.86 million tonnes during Q3 of 2014-15 against 3.75 mt in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. Total product sales, including exports, increased to 3.57 mt (3.39 mt) during the period.
