Online pharmacy marketplace Netmeds has acquired health tech start-up KiViHealth in a cash and stock deal. KiViHealth is a clinic management platform which offers a “digital prescription pad” tool that helps doctors generate digital prescriptions.

Netmeds will invest close to $10 million to acquire and scale up the business of KiViHealth over two or three years, said Pradeep Dadha, founder and CEO of Netmeds.

KiViHealth’s AI-based prescription management technology helps doctors diagnose similar conditions in patients and helps healthcare stakeholders analyse trends that can be used as a predictive analysis tool. The app also provides an appointment booking module.
