NMDC today decided to keep prices of its iron ore unchanged for the current month.
The iron ore miner, which revises prices of its ore on a monthly basis, has rolled over the December 2014 rates - Rs 4,200 per tonne for lumps and Rs 3,060 per tonne for fines - for January.
In December, the company had cut its prices by three to 4.5 per cent in line with falling global prices.
The company produced 22.50 million tonnes in the first nine months of the current fiscal, as against 20.17 million tonnes in the corresponding period of last fiscal.
