Noise raises $20 million from Bose Corporation

Global audio giant Bose Corporation has made fresh investment of $20 million in smartwatch and connected lifestyle brand Noise. In 2023, the brand had raised $10 million from Bose as part of its Series A funding round valuing it at around $420 million.

The company did not comment on the valuation for the latest funding round.

Amit Khatri, Co-Founder, Noise in a Linkedin post said, “Thrilled to share that Bose has reinvested $20 million in Noise. Last year, we welcomed Bose Corporation as a strategic investor—and their belief in our vision helped us push the boundaries in wearables and audio innovation.This isn’t just about funding—it’s about building value, scale, and experiences that truly resonate with the next generation of consumers.”

“We’re incredibly grateful for Bose’s continued trust—and even more excited about what we’re building next.India is not just a fast-growing market—it’s a product powerhouse in the making,” he added.

International foray

In recent times, the brand has been focusing on international foray. Late last month, Noise had announced its foray in UK and European markets. The brand said it is now available at iconic retail destinations—Selfridges, London and Printemps, Paris. It said this is a as a step towards accelerating global accessibility of Made in India smart wearables. It said it will be retailing its its full range of products across categories—smartwatches, smart rings, and audio devices, including the Ring, Master Buds with Sound by Bose, and the ColorFit Pro Series.

Recently, it also entered Middle East market and is being retailed at Virgin Megastores.

As per data released by IDC in February, India’s wearable device market declined for the first time in 2024 by 11.3 per cent y-o-y . Smartwatch shipments fall sharply by 34.4 per cent, while earwear shows modest growth of 3.8 per cent, it added. It ranked Noise as the leading smartwatch company with a share of 25.2 per cent in CY24.
