Om Metals bags ₹615-cr Rajasthan dam project

Om Metals Infra Projects has bagged a ₹615-crore order to construct a dam across River Banas in Rajasthan. The turnkey project includes the design, drawings and construction of the Isarda dam across the Banas in Rajasthan’s Tonk district on an EPC basis besides its maintenance and operation for five years.

The order book of the company now stands at ₹1,449 crore. The contract was awarded by the State’s Water Resources Department.

Vikas Kothari, Director and President, Om Metals, said the new project will enable the company to bid for other large projects in future given the good traction in terms of bidding in the irrigation segment.
