Paris and Goa top travellers’ wishlist

According to the survey conducted by Hotels.com, 26 per cent Indian travellers prefer to have fun roommates.

Indian travellers seem to have a list of preferences when it comes to sharing their room while travelling. According to the survey conducted by Hotels.com , 26 per cent Indian travellers prefer to have fun roommates. Interestingly, 16 per cent of the recipients find it very important to have someone who is good looking, followed by someone who is trustworthy (14 per cent) when it comes to sharing a room.

On the other hand, 15 per cent Indian travellers don’t really mind sharing a room with someone who has a different religion. However, they find it very disturbing to have a roommate who is a smoker.

In addition, Indian travellers picked Paris as their number one wish-list travel destination. Goa ranked second, indicating that it still remains a preferred holiday destination and Venice and Rio de Jenerio ranked third in the wish-list.

More than 5,000 travellers from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, the UK and the US participated in the Hotels.com survey.
