Premium sets up Rs 30-cr plant to make geared motors

Premium Transmission has set up a Rs 30-crore plant in Aurangabad to make geared motors.

The company manufactures industrial gears and gear boxes. The new manufacturing facility, spread across 20,000 square metres, is equipped to make over 80,000 geared motors annually. The unit was inaugurated by promoter-director Karan Thapar.

The company has launched ‘Premium Stephan Geared Motors’, which will be made with technical assistance from Germany.

“We have decided to invest in a new plant to manufacture geared motors to the exacting German standards,” said P. Sachdev, Chairman, Premium Transmission.
