The Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (RInfra) on Wednesday announced the demerger of four power generation and supply divisions in Mumbai, Goa and Andhra Pradesh, into a subsidiary, for ₹6,282.50 crore.
The subsidiary will not be listed on the exchanges. The company, in a BSE statement, said the company’s board has approved a scheme of arrangement with Reliance Electric Generation and Supply Private Ltd, and their respective shareholders and creditors subject to requisite approvals.
