Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (RInfra), a part of the Reliance (Anil Ambani) Group, has appointed M S Mehta as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company with effect from July 7, 2014.
He will take over as CEO from Shri Lalit Jalan, who has been elevated as Director - Corporate Strategy and Affairs.
Mehta was till recently the Group CEO of Vedanta Resources for five years and earlier CEO of Hindustan Zinc. Mehta is a Mechanical Engineer, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
