Sanofi inks pact with Suzlon Energy

Healthcare major Sanofi India has said that it has inked an agreement with Suzlon Energy to install a 2.1-MW offsite windmill for captive consumption at its Ankleshwar manufacturing site.

The Ankleshwar facility is one of Sanofi’s three GMP (good manufacturing practices) compliant sites in India and produces solid dose formulations and active pharma ingredients. Between its two facilities at Goa and Ankleshwar, Sanofi has the capacity to manufacture 8.5 billion tablets annually.
